Wild Elephants

This was my first time staying in a hostel and I had an absolutely wonderful time!! The volunteers and staff were incredibly welcoming and kind. Immaculate energy and vibes, awesome beer crawl and delicious dinners. Thank you Pierre, Andrea, Katerina and everyone at the front desk! I would 100% recommend staying here when visiting Bratislava!

Pri návšteve tohto hotela si treba prečítať pokyny" ktoré vám prídu mailom pri rezervácii alebo vám ich takisto dajú aj pri príchode na recepcii.Nie je to hostel kam sa idete vyspať po služobke alebo výlete s deťmi. Tie sem ani nepustia. Možno pre tieto nedorozumenia je tu väčšina negatívnych recenzií.Tento hostel má za mňa veľký potenciál v tom

Its a hostel run by volunteers. They are all very nice and friendly. They would explain everything patiently and give you a tour of the hostel after you check-in.Nice big kitchen, they cook their and serve different dishes (cooked by volunteers) at very reasonable prices.Rooms and toilets are very clean.It’s located near the old town and at walking distance from Trams, attractions, MCDONALDS and other restaurants.Would be staying there again if I visit Bratislava again.

Staying here was the social pick me up" I needed after solo traveling for a while! I had plenty of privacy and a good night's sleep even with the social character of the hostel. Shout-out to the volunteers: Simon for leading a great Slovak lunch

Whether you're looking to meet fellow travelers, dance the night away, or simply unwind with a drink in hand, Wild Elephant has you covered.The accommodations were clean and comfortable, providing a much-needed retreat after a night of festivities. The hostel strikes a perfect balance between offering a lively social scene and ensuring guests can get a good night's sleep when needed.I'll definitely be revisiting on my next adventure.

As a solo traveller, my experience at the Wild Elephants Hostel was unfortunately quite unpleasant. I felt unwelcome, and both the owner and staff were not friendly to all guests. While there were a few exceptions with some genuinely nice staff, overall, if you prioritize respect, I would strongly advise avoiding this place. Urban Hostel offers a better and more welcoming stay in comparison.
