This specific location is further outside of the city center than their other spot, but it was worth the short trek. Authentic Slovak food which is quite rich and flavorful and some delicious beer. The leziak 10 and 12 and the Bubak 12 were all very good, easy drinking, and paired well with the food. English menu was helpful and the waitress was very friendly and gave some good suggestions. Interior is rustic yet modern. Great place to stop for lunch or dinner and some local beers! Also a great beer garden out back for warmer weather.

We came to Bratislava for a day trip hence we didn't have much of an opportunity to try different restaurants. And boy were we lucky enough to try Mestiansky.The mushroom cream soup was extremely appetizing. It was creamy and yet refreshingly sour at the same time. My family and I cleaned the enamel bowl thoroughly.The BBQ ribs were generously portioned and the taste was a good combination of the BBQ sauce, tender meat as well as the fragrance of the BBQ process.But for me, the pork knuckle was the best of the lot. The outer layer was crisp and fragrant. The meat inside was smooth textured, tender and tasted fresh. This combined with the sauce provided a super dining experience.Strongly recommend for everyone visiting Bratislava who wants to try great tasting dishes!

Amazing and really tasty food, especially Tartar and Tenderloin. Waiter was also very helpful and the prices aren't too high.I can recommend it to everyone, great place.

One of my favorite places to eat and take my visitors from USA. The menu is extensive and food is excellent with good prices. Steak tartar is to dye for and one of the best in Bratislava. This place offers a large indoor and outdoor seating in a garden and they do take credit cards but the gratuity need to be paid in cash and not on the card. Most of the staff is friendly and speak English. Little fun fact: On one occasion I was dining in the garden and HGTV was taping House Hunters International episode just few tables over from us. So it was super cool to watch on tv later when it aired.

I ate here twice and had a great meal both times.The local cuisine I tried included pork schnitzel and chicken with noodles. Both meals were excellent and I really enjoyed them.The cost including beer was very reasonable.I would recommend coming back here again.

The local food was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend to try the local food instead of 'normal' offerings. The lager beer was not my taste but the IPA was great.In my opinion one of the best choices, to have lunch (there are good daily offers) or dinner in the city center of Bratislava.The staff is really friendly and well organized.If I come back to Bratislava sometime, I'm surely gonna be eating here again!

Great pub food. Atmosphere suits the place. Prices are reasonable. Tasty beer. Waiters are kind and child friendly.Would recommend and visit again.

Once again, I find myself trying a new cuisine. This time Slovakian. Excellent dishes, generous portions, and quick service.I want to point out that I was charged €1.60 for bread! I didn’t order it, assuming it comes free as all other restaurants. The waitress didn’t inform me of this too. I was going to give the restaurant 5 stars, but because of this incident I decided not to. Nevertheless, highly recommend!
